Program in details

01 Introduction

The doctoral program represents the pinnacle of academic achievement. It equips students with the opportunity to expand their research and teaching horizons in a global context that is in dire need of high-impact research projects with commercial potential.

The current issue with Doctoral programs is the divide between practical research capabilities and academic research skills. This leads to doctoral candidates lacking in the complementary knowledge between the two types of Doctorates. The dual Doctorate program, combining a Professional Doctorate and a Ph.D. from MI Swiss, fully addresses this issue.

As a research-based Doctoral program, students are introduced to research methodologies right from the start and begin their research immediately after being guided in formulating their research proposals. They are also assigned a faculty mentor who accompanies them throughout the research process.

One of the significant trends that affirm the status of Doctorates in both applied research and academic environments is the ability to publish international articles in prestigious journals within the ISI/SCOPUS system. With this program, if students express the need, they will be assigned a dedicated faculty advisor and offered additional courses to help them publish international articles based on the research developed during their program.

Students study with SIMI Swiss but receive their qualifications from partner universities. This arrangement allows them to benefit from Switzerland's comprehensively accredited and recognized educational system, while also potentially saving up to 85% on tuition fees compared to the original costs.

Welcome to the dual Doctorate program of SIMI Swiss, facilitated through the international collaboration of the Schweizerischen Instituts für Management und Innovation erfüllt (MI Swiss) .

05 Support of Personal Research Supervisor

According to numerous studies, one of the most significant challenges faced by doctoral students is the lack of a guiding faculty member to accompany, support, and advise them throughout their research period. Furthermore, 80% of doctoral students who fail to graduate on time or are forced to abandon their programs halfway do so because of this issue.

Understanding this, SIMI Swiss has implemented a program with dedicated research mentors to support and guide students throughout their research development phase, following the completion of their proposal through various courses.

Although a research mentor isn't there to do the work for you, their support and extensive research experience provide a solid foundation for students to complete high-quality research on time. Additionally, this support enhances the opportunity for students to publish their work in prestigious journals such as ISI/SCOPUS.

06 Publishing Research Papers in ISI/SCOPUS

Being able to publish international articles is a crucial skill that helps establish a researcher's standing. Moreover, it aids in disseminating high-quality research, contributing to the spread of human knowledge.

The Dual Doctorate program does not require students to publish international articles. However, it always keeps this opportunity open, along with providing additional support activities to assist those students who wish to publish their research in prestigious ISI/SCOPUS journals.

After completing their research, students who wish to do so will be assigned an international publication advisor (who may be the same as or different from their research mentor) and will have access to additional workshops designed to help them excel in publishing their work.
